Our meetings are usually conducted on the third Tuesday of the month, August through May with a Used Book Sale in the first week of June. There is NO December meeting. We recommend that you check the HOME page for information and the exact dates regarding our upcoming meetings. If you are a member you can check the 'Event Calendar'.
The format of the meeting varies. Sometimes, we have speakers and other times, we have small group discussions. Many of our meetings are actually events like the science fair, spelling bee, and field day.
Most meetings are are held at 7p.m. at Seven Hills Church (formerly Fellowship of Believers) in Florence, Kentucky.
For those new to homeschooling or new to the area or state, we do conduct a 'New Home Schooler's Meeting' at 6:30pm before every THINK meeting. Someone will be there to discuss homeschooling in general, homeschooling in Kentucky, and how to get started. There is time to ask questions as well. We have packets of information available for those attending.
Childcare is available for children 5 years old and under. The cost is $2/child with a $5 maximum per family. Parents must sign their children in and out of the childcare room. Only childcare workers are allowed in the childcare room.
The THINK Resource Library is available to THINK members at each meeting starting at 6:30p.m. There is also an attended THINK Information Table available, where you can obtain more information about THINK, pick-up a complimentary newsletter, and/or become a THINK member.
