Teaching Homes In Northern Kentucky

Welcome!!

NOTE:  THE THINK FIELD DAY IS ON FOR TODAY!  PLEASE ARRIVE WELL BEFORE 1PM TO CHECK-IN.  WE NEED TO GET STARTED ON-TIME AS THERE IS AN INCREASING CHANCE OF RAIN LATER IN THE DAY.  BRING YOUR LUNCH AT 12PM FOR A PICNIC.

Teaching Homes In Northern Kentucky is a consortium of families from the northern-most counties of Kentucky who base the education of our children in our homes. In THINK, we try to support one another as we attempt to raise our children in a manner that glorifies God.

From August through November and January through May we hold meetings for home schooling families usually on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the 7 Hills Church in Florence, Kentucky. (Check below for information and exact dates of upcoming meetings.)

We publish a member contact list and a monthly newsletter.

For those new to homeschooling or new to the area or state, we do conduct a 'New Home Schooler's Meeting' at 6:30pm before every THINK meeting. Someone will be there to discuss homeschooling in general, homeschooling in Kentucky, and how to get started. There is time to ask questions as well. We have packets of information available for those attending. Also, be sure to check-out our New Homeschoolers page for more helpful information.

Membership: Interested in becoming a member in THINK? See the benefits of THINK membership and download an application form here.

Used Curriculum Sale Scheduled for June 2nd

The Annual THINK Used Curriculum Sale is coming up June 2nd at Seven Hills Church from 6:30 pm—8:30 pm.

This is one of our biggest events of the year and has always been well attended. It is a great way to buy some of your curriculum for next year at great prices. If your shelves are full of things that you have not used or read in years, now is the time to start thinking about clearing them off; they may be very valuable to someone else. If you are finishing up curriculum and/or books this year that you will not use again, gather them up. It is only $5 to reserve a table.

We will be taking registrations at the May Field Day or you can mail in your $5 to the THINK address. Tables are available on a first come/first served basis.

If you will be mailing in your registration, please, email Marcie Clark at Marcie@thinkathome.com and let her know to expect your registration.
