THINK @ Home

Message from THINK’s Board of Advisors

After a busy start to 2012, we are happy to find some time to communicate with our fellow home educators in Northern Kentucky and beyond.  We hope that you have had a smooth start to this year and are anticipating many blessings.

Last year proved to be a year of communication enhancements for THINK.   A new and improved THINK website was offered to our members.  We also expanded our outreach informally through Facebook.  If you have not registered at www.thinkathome.com (FREE  and we do NOT share your information) and/or “friended” Teaching Homes of Northern Kentucky on Facebook, please take a moment to do so.

This year, we would like to expand our communication by better connecting with the many homeschool co-ops in Northern Kentucky.  We continue to pray and search for a person or couple who would be interested in serving on our Board of Advisors and specifically helping us connect with co-ops in our community as well as help homeschoolers form new co-ops.  If you or someone you know would be willing to help us in this way, please contact Jeff Sewell at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. God has provided a very fruitful group of leaders to serve on the THINK Board of Advisors.  Chris and Carol Wallace of Campbell County continue to serve and are our THINK Spelling Bee Chairs.  Steve and Betsy Stockman of Kenton County keep us in shape by Chairing the THINK Field Day.  Brad and Chris Ellzey of Boone County are our faithful keepers of the member data base and Chris has been a faithful mentor to new homeschoolers.  Brandon and Jennifer Hoover of Grant County are our resident technology experts, help us keep the THINK Website up to date and send out our communications.  Lastly, Jeff and Beth Sewell of Kenton County remain Co-chairs for 2012 and Beth hopes to chair another THINK Resource Fair.  The organization is also dependent on Taylor and Candace Grandstaff for Website maintenance and producing THINK Educator Discount Cards and Marcie Clark as Used Curriculum Fair Chair last year.

We are always looking for your involvement. We are asking God to bless us with 2 more families to serve as on the THINK Board of Advisors.   If you have ever had an interest in home education leadership, have good ideas for enhancing THINK’s offerings to home educators, and believe God would like to share your gifts in serving, we would love to hear from you.  Please contact Jeff Sewell at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We wish you the very best success as you endeavor to disciple your children this year.  Please pray for us as we long to serve and bring God glory all that we humbly produce.

On behalf of our Board,

Jeff Sewell

THINK 2012 Chair
